We are looking for a Business Operation Assistant.

Position overview


We are currently recruiting a Business Operation Assistant to support our UK operations with administration, finance and HR functions.



  • Provide financial and HR administrative support to line managers; all staff in the UK.
  • Facilitate drop-in working, F2F meetings, customer demos and workshops in our Glasgow office.
  • Ensure day-to-day bookkeeping, weekly bank reconciliation, travel expenses and customer invoicing
  • Assist new employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Purchase equipment and arrange deliveries and shipping to customers and remote employees.
  • Assist in arranging online and in-person team building, social events.
  • Assist in maintaining company fixed asset register.
  • Compliance with UK data protection legislation.

Who are you

  • With proven experience as admin assistant, bookkeeping, purchasing or similar role.
  • Experience using Xero, Sage HR, Teams
  • Attention to detail and possess superb organisation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and able to cope up with wide-ranging duties that covers aspect of operation in a fast-paced tech startup environment.
  • A team player, with good sense of humor and always on the go with socials.
  • Excellent communication skills with a business level written and oral English.
  • Proactive and able to identify and solve problems.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills.
  • Experience handling sensitive information and knowledge of UK data protection legislation
