We are in an exciting period of growth and working on a number of high-profile global projects. We are therefore looking for a Director of Projects to join us on our journey

 

 

Position Overview

The Director of Projects will be a key role within Edify. A newly created role, you will report to the Chief Product Officer but work very closely with both Product and our Go to Market Team, creating a seamless end to end experience. We have a wide range of new high profile digital projects and are looking for someone not only skilled in project management but with an understanding of Learning and Development and VR/AR.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a process by which all projects coming into the business can be managed.
  • Take ownership of large-scale projects whilst coordinating the efforts of team members tasked with supporting project delivery and customer success.
  • Defining project scope, scheduling, and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Distillation of a customer brief into project requirements
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Regular reporting to management team
  • Manage the relationship with the internal client and relevant external stakeholders
  • Embed and perform risk management to minimise potential risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Manage the agile project management process

Who are you

  • Experience in design and execution of project management processes from commercials through to delivery.
  • Experience of owning large-scale, high-profile projects
  • Experience in coordinating the work of colleagues tasked with supporting project delivery
  • Experience in creating a community of best practice around Project Management.
  • Proven working experience in project management at a senior level
  • Experience of using and managing projects using a Jira based process.
  • Extensive work experience of knowledge of Agile/ Prince2/ Phase Gate frameworks.
  • Learning and Development project Management experience
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills- able to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Experience of working on multiple projects with short turn-around time.
  • Experience of working in a studio production environment (Preferred)
  • Experience of working within large scale delivery programs for high profile MENA/ SEA clients (preferred)
  • Ability to work from home (robust network connectivity etc.)
