Setting up cameras

First, click on the Broadcasting tab on either the lectern or the desktop mode banner. The top left box is the default camera which broadcasts the teacher’s current view, whether in desktop or VR mode.

You can also add up to 3 additional static cameras per scene by clicking on Add new in the other boxes. When you do this, a camera will appear in front of you. If you are close to the home panel or a wall, this may cause the camera to appear behind it. You will now be able to see the view from the camera in the Broadcasting tab. If you hover over the camera’s box with your cursor or controller, you will be presented with the option to either broadcast from or remove that camera.

The cameras offer a way to separate yourself from what the viewers see, so you are free to move around and guide them through the content. For example, you can place the camera in front of one of the edify boards, and then write on the board as if you are presenting a normal lecture, with users seeing you from a normal point of view.
