edify is creating a virtual large animal x-ray suite which will allow the development of large animal radiography skills and competencies. Opportunities for trainee vets to get real-world, hands-on equine radiography training are limited. Horses and other large animals require specific diagnostic imaging techniques and facilities that are not easily accessible to trainees.

In edify, students have unlimited attempts at obtaining radiographs of good diagnostic quality in a risk-free environment. In VR, trainees can learn about radiation safety and practice effective radiographic technique for cases that occur infrequently in real life.
